Buy a Bayernticket at the information desk (Departure Hall 2) for less. Otherwise, there is a ticket machine in the underground station on the ground floor. The prices at the ticket machines are full prices and more expensive. Be sure to validate your ticket before entering the underground. The underground fare is included in the Bayern-Ticket. Then take the S-Bahn U2 to Nuremberg Central Station. Takes 12 minutes. The underground runs every 10 minutes. There may be cheaper options if you book in advance (please enquire yourself).
From Nuremberg main station take the train via Pegnitz to Kirchenlaibach (58 minutes).
The first train to Pegnitz leaves at 00:22; the last train leaves at 22:57.
Direct train in the direction of Hof or Cheb via Marktredwitz. Approx. 33 minutes after the hour (58 minutes journey time) or in the direction of Bayreuth - then you have to change trains in Pegnitz (76 minutes journey time).
Flgh. Nuremberg 12 minutes by underground U2 to Nuremberg main station. From there 37 minutes by train, hourly, (33 connections per day) to Pegnitz. To Kirchenlaibach 15 minutes by train, hourly. Get off there.
The entire journey by direct train takes 1 hour. If you have to change trains, you will need 1 hour and 20 minutes. In Kirchenlaibach, take a taxi from the station (pre-booking required - Taxi König - +49 (0) 9275 275 or +49 (0) 171 324 23 61), which will drop you off at our door. Costs approx. 35€.
