Working in different temperatures and extreme conditions

This training programme to become a professional WW facilitator focuses on the fundamentals of transformative and transpersonal psychology, as well as intensive breathing and self-awareness processes in warm water. In doing so, we consciously focus on addressing our own issues and inner patterns relating to birth trauma, coping with life’s challenges and making a fresh start.

Through intensive self-exploration and supporting others through these processes, participants develop a deep understanding of their own personal dynamics, as well as the ability to provide supportive guidance during other people’s transformative processes – particularly in the context of breathing exercises in warm water.

As the subject of childbirth is so multifaceted and our understanding of it is constantly evolving, some of the content, topics and key areas may change to reflect the most up-to-date information. WW Modules 2 and 3 are part of a closed training group.

Seminar programme

Arrival: Wednesday afternoon/evening from 5.00 pm (arrival by car or train), dinner at 7.00 pm – or arrival on Thursday before the event begins

Thursday: Starts at 10.00 – approx. 19.00, birth canal simulation and group breathing exercises as part of the preparation

Friday: 10.00 – approx. 19.00, Caesarean section, attachment trauma, limbic imprinting and the future of psychiatry, WW breathing session: Sharing experiences as a therapist and a client

Saturday: 10.00 – approx. 19.00, Introduction to the Janus approach to childbirth, Childbirth and violence, WW breathing session: Sharing experiences as a therapist and a client

Sunday: 10.00 – approx. 16.00, Birth psychopathology according to Grof (in detail) & the basics of birth breathing according to Grof, joint conclusion
